The Contest begins at 9:00 AM PST on Friday, April 19, 2024 and ends at 11:59 PM PST on Sunday, April 21, 2024. To participate, contestants must publish the correct answer to the FinLit Friday Trivia post published by the Center for Financial Empowerment on its official Facebook and Instagram pages. Answers must be published before 11:59 PM PST on Sunday, March 24, 2024 to be eligible for contest. There are two ways to compete: 1) Respond with the correct answer during the Contest period on the Center for Financial Empowerment’s official Facebook page to the FinLit Friday Trivia question; 2) Respond with the correct answer during the Contest period on the Center for Financial Empowerment’s official Instagram page to the FinLit Friday Trivia question. Private accounts or replies that are unable to be viewed by the Center for Financial Empowerment’s official social media platforms are not eligible. Answers posted by accounts that cannot be confirmed as an account following the corresponding social media platform are not eligible. Winner will be randomly selected from eligible submissions within 7 days of the contest end date and will be announced within 21 days of the contest end date. Prize will be awarded as follows: One (1) winner will be declared for the FinLit Friday Trivia question to win a $50 Amazon Gift Card. A total of one (1) prize will be awarded. In the event of an ineligible winner, the next eligible contestant will be declared the winner and awarded the prize for the Trivia question. The Center for Financial Empowerment will not be responsible for any lost or stolen prizes. Winner need not be present to win, and will be notified by social media, telephone, mail, and/or email, and will be publicly announced on the Center for Financial Empowerment’s official Facebook or Instagram accounts/pages within three weeks of the contest end date. Once awarded, the Center for Financial Empowerment assumes no liability or responsibility for the prize. By entering the Contest, participant agrees to have his or her name and/or photo appear in the Center for Financial Empowerment’s emails, social media, and/or website. To qualify, all contestants must be 14 years of age or older and respond to the FinLit Friday Trivia post with the correct answer. The Center for Financial Empowerment employees, family members of employees, and those living in the household of employees are not eligible. Use of multiple social media accounts within each of the Center for Financial Empowerment’s official social media channels will be ineligible. Contest subject to all laws of the United States, as well as the individual states within; void if not valid in this jurisdiction.
